Augers are much more suitable for stratum without too much water bearing ( for pile holes that don't need add wather when do the piling job). In this case, augers have much higher drilling efficiency since its shape design. For rotary augers usually there are three kinds: conical rock auger, flat rock auger and flat soil auger.
